BRICK: Arcade Defense
Last updated:
This page answers the questions we are asked most often about BRICK: Arcade Defense (“the App”). If your question is not covered here, write to dev@babel.sk.
1. Contacting us
Send questions, bug reports and anything else about the App to dev@babel.sk.
It helps if your message includes your iPhone model, your iOS version and the sector you were playing. Screenshots and screen recordings are welcome.
2. Remove Ads
I bought Remove Ads and the banner is still there.
Open the App, go to STORE and tap RESTORE PURCHASES. The purchase belongs to the Apple Account that bought it, so the device must be signed in to that same account. If the banner is still visible, close the App completely and open it again.
I have a new iPhone. Do I have to buy it again?
No. Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Sign in with the same Apple Account, open STORE and tap RESTORE PURCHASES.
The Arcade Shop shows UNAVAILABLE.
The App could not reach the App Store. Check your connection and tap RETRY. If it keeps failing, try again later; the App Store occasionally declines product requests for a short time.
I would like a refund.
Refunds are handled by Apple rather than by the developer. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in and choose the purchase.
3. Playing the game
Tilt control does not move the paddle.
Turn it on first in OPTIONS → TILT CONTROL. Tilt works alongside touch: while your finger is on the screen the drag takes priority, and tilt resumes when you lift it. Tilt relies on the motion sensors of a physical iPhone.
Where is my progress stored?
Campaign progress, checkpoints and high scores are kept on the device itself. They are not uploaded anywhere and do not sync between devices, so deleting the App or moving to another iPhone starts a new campaign. The ten best runs are retained.
My run disappeared after I closed the game.
It should not have. The App saves your sector, score and lives at the point you stopped, so reopening it and choosing CONTINUE resumes that run. If a run was genuinely lost, please write to us and describe what you were doing when it happened.
4. Advertising and privacy
How do I change my privacy choices?
Open OPTIONS → PRIVACY CHOICES. This entry appears only where such a choice is legally required, which is why it is not visible in every country.
I saw an advertisement that should not be there.
Open OPTIONS → REPORT AN AD. It prepares an e-mail containing the identifier of the most recently loaded ad so that it can be traced. Nothing is sent until you send the message yourself.
What data does the App collect?
The App keeps your scores and progress on your device and uploads nothing itself. Advertising is provided by Google AdMob and the App always requests non-personalized ads. The Privacy Policy describes this in full.
